Overview
Cebu may be known for its impressive beaches, but if you look beyond the shores and deep into its heart, you’ll see a rich history that tells a beautiful tale. In particular the Queen City of the South, as Cebu City is often called and known for, is home to many heritage sites that date back to the Spanish Colonial Period. With this tour program, you will have a peek of how Cebu was in the early years. Accompanied by a professional tour guide, visit the iconic Magellan’s Cross, a symbol of our conversion from being pagans to Christians, the beautifully preserved Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño de Cebu with the image of the Holy Child Jesus, a visit to the smallest tri-bastion Fort San Pedro, drive through the oldest street in the country towards the Cebu Heritage Monument describing the eventful saga of Cebu, and explore Casa Gorordo for a delightful insight of our glorious past. You can also have a photo-op at a nearby wood & stone ancestral house of the Yap-Sandiego built during the 19th century Spanish regime.
